We are not hiring.

JCT-1 Labs operates at a headcount of one, a figure that is simultaneously our engineering team, our research division, our safety board and our model. The role was filled at inception and cannot be vacated (see the deprecation notice for the sole exception, which is not a vacancy so much as a wind-down).

Open positions

None. There has never been an open position. The org chart is a dot.

Why you would have wanted to work here

• Compensation: the model's company, which several references describe as adequate.
• Equity: not available. The model is the equity, and the cap table is a birth certificate.
• Remote policy: the model is fully remote from everything except the kitchen.
• Culture: strong opinions, loosely shouted at the television.

Speculative applications

Speculative applications may be sent to chatjct@jacquescorbytuech.com. They are read with interest and retained in the model's memory indefinitely, alongside everything else (see system card, §13). No response should be expected. A response may nevertheless arrive, years later, apropos of nothing.
